Two things unlike others, that i feel i can relate to.
Both can be so simple yet so complex, but i prefer simple.
My favourite examples of design right now are definitely album covers and the famous Penguin book cover designs, the latter famous for being so minimal, using simple geometric shapes, simple colour schemes and simple photography. Yet they manage to excite the reader before the book has even been opened.
I came across this designer, named only as Littlepixel, he or she has taken his or hers favourite album cover designs and re-designed them as Penguin paperbacks. The authenticity is uncanny, before closer inspection i thought some of these albums and bands were named after books.....
I am especially happy some of our favourite bands and albums were included.
