Street of Visuals, Combing the Senses.

During my recent travels into the depths of the surreal, filmatic abyss, I came across a directorial team known as The Quay Brothers. I find their work haunting, disconcerting, provocative and, in an odd way, beautiful. Definitely visually compelling. They combine stop motion animation, hand drawn animation and live-action filming to create their awkward and ghoulish style.

I definitely recommend looking into their work. I would suggest starting with Street Of Crocodiles and The Comb. Enjoy delving into some surrealism.
